Sleeping through

Hi guys, just a quick one. My baby girl is 2 months old today. Is anyone’s baby sleeping through the night at this age? She used to be asleep for 10/10:30 and first wake was 3am ish then second was 6-7am. She’s now waking up every 2 hours and it’s tiring for her and for me and her dad! Any tips on sleeping more or s...

Sense check, should I say this?

So I had my lovely baby boy just 8 days ago. My mum/parents have been a nightmare since the day I had him (this isn't out of character) including phoning up the hospital and bullying the staff. I had a Caesarian, a huge bleed and a bad reaction to some of the drugs. I have arranged for them to come over in a couple ...

Breastfeeding

How can I tell when my baby (5 days old) has had enough to feed? I feel like he can stay latched on forever if I let him and can’t really tell when it’s enough. Also struggling to get him down in his bassinet to sleep as he just wants to be in my arms all the time. Any tips would be very appreciated. Thanks x

One bed flats

Should I feel guilty for living in a one bed flat with a baby? Not due for another couple of months but financially can’t afford to move. We have a neighbour who is a bit of a knob and can imagine him complaining every chance he gets? What should I do? really making me feel shit😭

Breastfeeding, over feed?

How many times a day does your baby breastfeed? I took my 11 week old to doctors yesterday for her reflux and the doctor told me I was over feeding her😅 I said she typically feeds between 8 and 9 times a day, google is telling me that’s average?

Semi skimmed milk

Hi, our HV told us this week that we can give our one year olds semi skimmed milk as rules have changed and its not much different to whole these days! I know it would save us buying 2 lots of different milk but does anyone else just use semi skimmed?

I'm exclusively breastfeeding and baby is 4 weeks this Sunday. I can already see my boibs becoming saggy and that's already affecting my confidence especially when around my partner... It's like I no longer feel comfortable being naked...

... In front of him ... Plus my baby bump is taking a while to go away and it's bothering me a lot ... Can anyone relate ? Makes so sad...

Want to get out more but…

So I’m wanting to get out and about more with baby now the weather is getting better. However, my baby (3 months) doesn’t like the pram much or car seat (unless she’s super tired). Shes a contact napper during the day and will sleep 2-3 hours on me, but will only sleep 30 mins if in the pram. I do have a baby c...

Have I made my baby less cuddly?

This may sound really weird but my baby doesn’t enjoy being cuddled in and has always been happy just being put down to sleep. Will he ever be cuddly? Are babies cuddly at this age or does it come later? (He’s 7 months)!

Baby Grunting Syndrome/Gas

Hello. My baby is over 3 weeks old and from week 2 she started grunting. She gets all red and it seems she is pushing something out. Most of the time she is grunting so badly that she wakes herself up and starts crying. Her nappies are always wet, so she isn’t consipated. I’m thinking it could be baby grunting syndr...

Best bottles for breastfeeding babies

Hello, my little girl is 5 weeks old and exclusively breastfed. We’ve started to introduce one bottle of expressed breast milk per day to try and get her used to a bottle. Has anyone got any recommendations for any good bottles for breastfeeding babies. She’s a very windy baby and we’ve tried the anti-colic Tommee T...

Bad thoughts

My partner is a manager in hospitality, meaning he is out the house working for 14-15 hours a day. I’m finding it very lonely and very difficult, I don’t have any mum friends, I already struggle with BPD for the last ten years of my life and finding it hard to reach out. I thought I had a grip on things, until to...

Routine

My baby is coming for up for 5 months and we don’t really have a routine at all. I just feed on demand, let let her nap when she’s tired and put her to bed between 7:30-9 depending on last nap not a set time. Please tell me I’m not the only one?! If so what should I be doing?! First time mum 🙈
