So my sister is about to finish her masters in counselling. She recently had a chat with me about my husband and says based on her studies it sounds like I am in an abusive relationship because my husband doesn’t engage in the relationship, he watches TV every night etc, and looking after our daughter is a favour (t...

How can I get a wee sample from my toddler who doesn’t know how to use a potty. The doctor doesn’t want to use cotton wool so I’m finding it hard to get him to wee in his potty to collect it for his sample.

Stimulating activities for 12 week old

Really struggling to stimulate my 12 week old during awake windows, currently his awake windows are filled with a small amount of tummy time, nappy change and feeding before he’s tired again. Does anybody have any suggestions on stimulating activities I could do? He does use his play mat but gets fed up pretty quickly.

Thoughts on compulsory education?

I want to preface this by saying I 1000% believe children should be educated (either in school or through homeschooling) & should maintain a good level of attendance. This also isn’t a post about me NOT putting my child in school, I’m just curious about people’s views! But… 🤣🤣 I spend a lot of time studying…

7 m/o bit at nursery

My 7 month old was bit at nursery today, the mark is quite bad and they said they had to apply ice. Am I within my rights to complain? I appreciate that accidents will happen and I don’t want to appear to be an over the top first time mum but I was under the impression she would be supervised the whole time at her a...

He looks at me in disgust when I put it in his mouth and then just sits there with it and the front of his mouth then spits most of it out. Is there anything I can do to stop him doing this?? I worry this is what he’s always goi...
