How can I get a wee sample from my toddler who doesn’t know how to use a potty. The doctor doesn’t want to use cotton wool so I’m finding it hard to get him to wee in his potty to collect it for his sample.

Really struggling to stimulate my 12 week old during awake windows, currently his awake windows are filled with a small amount of tummy time, nappy change and feeding before he’s tired again. Does anybody have any suggestions on stimulating activities I could do? He does use his play mat but gets fed up pretty quickly.
