Nesting ?

Definitely getting to the nesting stage hun

I think I got into the nesting stage early. I’ve been cleaning the most random shit that doesn’t matter but I can’t help it 😂🫠 I spent over an hour under the bed cleaning and reorganising the towels and bedsheets etc then spend an hour scrubbing one of the sofas lol. Still lots to do 😂

This morning I woke up at 5am and decided to deep clean the oven, when you have to stop walking by things and do them it’s a good sign you’re nesting 😂

Yess I'm 100% at this stage 🙌. I've still got 11 weeks to go but I want it all sorting now x

@Kirsten literally I have 9 weeks like 8 weeks left on Monday and I still need to paint my bedroom to make it nice for his arrival but my energy is so low that it makes it difficult to get everything done so quickly😩😩😩

When basic things around the house annoy you 🤣 I'm finding myself cleaning the bathroom nearly every day, normally I do a deep clean once a week. Then there's the hoovering which I used to do once maybe twice a week and I've now been doing it daily haha 🤣🤣 to top it off I can't stop buying things and building them telling my partner we "need it" like a new shoe rack which I did yesterday, new kitchen bin, new shower curtain. I'm finding the most random things to replace and make new because I feel it will make bringing baby home better 🤣 I'm also always too tired to do these things but then when I start doing them I can't stop 🙈 9 weeks left for me xx

I've even cleaned the hallway carpet, stairs carpet & landing carpet 🤣 then got annoyed the next day when workmen resealing my door left little white bits that are easily hoovered, on said carpet 🤣🤣

I wanted to mop the walls at 3 in the morning because I couldn’t sleep 😭 I’ve made my mum lend me her vax so I can do the carpets this weekend, and I cried because I wanted to put my stove tops and over shelves in the dishwasher and it wasn’t doing it’s cycle quick enough 😂😂

@Chloe I feel you there, I cried because I had washed my bedroom curtains but had to wait until my partner came home to put them back up for me 😭😂🙈

I don’t know if I’m ‘nesting’ because to me it just seems like normal preparing lol, got his whole nursery painted and furniture put up and everything’s ready in his bedroom, I just hate having things on my to do list I hadn’t long moved into my place and decorated so maybe that’s why I’m not feeling ‘overly nesty’🤔🤣

My version of nesting is crocheting things for the baby (I've never crocheted before) and taking up sewing with a machine that has been untouched for a year and a half. 😅 When will I start actually painting/buying the pram I know I want/buy a single item of clothing? 11 weeks to go and I'm not optimistic the actual nesting urge is gonna hit right in time. 😮‍💨

I started folding clothes in the middle of the night. I was 8 months pregnant with my first. My hubs was so confused lol

I’m 34 weeks and we’re under construction because we didn’t have any room for a baby in our appartment and I am so so annoyed because I can’t prepare a room! My BF doesn’t understand why I absolutely need to have everything ready before the baby’s arrival 😅 To him as long as we have diapers and a bed we’re good 😂

i think i’ve taken nesting to a whole different level, i’ve redecorated and painted my hallway and living room, ive had new flooring put in because i feel that everything has to prefect for when my little girl is here 😅 ive packed and unpacked my hospital bag, ive organised and reorganised my little girls wardrobe. i feel like im going crazy 😅

@Iveta I’ve literally painted my bedroom today the top half is for my partner to do as I haven’t got stable balance on the ladder due to having a big belly lol 😂😂

@Mimi 30 weeks but I get you nobody understands why I’m annoyed that nothing is done yet and it makes me emotional that nobody understands 😂😂
