Try and give your baby a warm bath before bedtime

No advice just same😅

@Tara he usually does have a bath before bed but again still won’t sleep on his own, he just gets frustrated and cries :(

@Shevaugn 😂😂i mean i love it don’t get me wrong but christ he’s killing my back, little chucky boy!

No help, I’m still doing at 19 months 😩

@Sasha my girl is tiny but still killing my back and well whole body and the wriggling I feel like I'm wrestling a crocodile all the time 🫠

@Natalie I got these off Vinted but when I went to put it on it looked like there wasn't enough space for her legs to move freely and be in the natural position with knees out - how have you found them? Does baby have space to have legs in the 'frog' position?

@Carys I used these swaddles when he was new born they were great definitely have room for the legs to be in the frog position https://amzn.eu/d/iRiXakp

@L 💜 Thank you. I've got 2 others that I rotate and then a thicker one if it's colder.

@Carys I switched to sleeping bags pretty quickly as he’s a thumb sucker and was getting annoyed not being able to reach it. But they were amazing before that.

Start by having a routine. The exact same for naps and bedtime! So with my 11 week old, we go upstairs, I change his nappy pop him in his sleeping bag and have a cuddle. I put him down in his next to me awake, pop his Ewan on and give him his comforter. I place my hand on his chest or hold his hand. We try self soothing for 10/15 minutes and if he’s still awake, we cuddle him to sleep and try again next time! He’s 3 months old on the 11th and can fall asleep independently for bedtime and his first and second nap of the day! 3rd and 4th nap are difficult because we tend to be out and about xx

@Jordan yeh he’s got a little routine now bless him! will definitely give that a go tomorrow!! thankyou!xx

@L 💜 oh bless you!!x

@Shevaugn 😂😂😂hard work isn’t it

@Carys ye I’ve found them fine they do come in different sizes. My LO is 7 weeks and still using the small/medium size. My LO can move about freely stretching his legs out and sleeping in the froggy position too.

@Natalie i’ve got these, only used twice as i’ve read that they can’t be swaddled if they are 2months plus, made me worry! but i may have to try again x

@Sasha oh I haven’t seen that. I was given them from a friend who used them and as far am I’m aware you can only use any swaddle until baby starts to roll over.

@Natalie ahhh perfect! might give that ago!!!! thankyou!!x

Oh gosh this is so normal! The vast majority of three month olds need support to get to sleep. You’re doing great! I wouldn’t spend money on swaddles at this age because he could start rolling anytime.

Hi mama I’m a newborn postpartum doula. Try swaddling him, and be consistent with during the day around nap time to put him in a dark setting where it mimics night. For evening time I highly recommend, when it’s time to go to bed , get the home night and dark and cozy to show the routine of bedtime. Remember baby is used to be bounced around when in the womb they were constantly bouncing in their sac because you were walking moving being active, he’s still new to the world and so the comforts that help him sleep in the womb may not be what he’s getting now that he’s out. If you have a yoga ball it helps to bounce on that while trying to put him to sleep 😊 I hope this helps

Try white noise it works really well x

@GMF oh good! thankyou means a lot!!

@Tiana Thankyou! really appreciate this

@Nadz Thankyou girl! my boy does love white noise! xx
